On some models, the dipstick tube runs alongside the exhaust manifold, which can destroy the sampling tube inside. In this case, sample at a lower temperature.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unwind the<\/strong> hose supplied in the sampling kit and straighten it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cut it<\/strong> so that it is the same length as the dipstick (so that it pumps well into the middle of the oil charge).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Connect the hose<\/strong> to the <strong>end of the syringe<\/strong> supplied in the kit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Insert the hose<\/strong> into the sump through the gauge well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aspirate<\/strong> by pulling the plunger. (If the oil doesn&#8217;t come in, the hose is not in contact with the oil. This ensures that all particles and pollutants have been stirred into the engine. We therefore recommend sampling after a period of normal operation of your equipment. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start by <strong>carefully cleaning the drain plug and surrounding parts on the housing<\/strong> (dirt that falls into the bottle during sampling will interfere with the analysis results).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Place a container<\/strong> (such as a bucket) under the drain plug.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gradually open the drain plug<\/strong> to obtain an even oil flow.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Allow a little oil to drip off<\/strong> before sampling (count to 5 before inserting the bottle).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Place the bottle under the stream of oil<\/strong> coming out of the crankcase (do not take oil from the bowl) and <strong>fill it, making sure to leave 1 cm of air<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Close the bottle<\/strong> and <strong>check that it is airtight<\/strong> by turning it upside down.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Close the housing<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_video src=&#8221;https:\/\/youtu.be\/ZLhppEHxa4Y&#8221;
